With over 25 years of experience in Healthcare, Hi-Tech, and Cleantech, across various sectors including start-ups, quoted firms, charities, and the public sector, Stuart is now pursuing a portfolio career focused on entrepreneurship and innovation.
His expertise lies in recognizing the entrepreneurial opportunities presented by the challenges of ageing and longevity in the health and social care ecosystem. Stuart is a firm believer in the significant scope for innovation in this space, emphasizing the essential role of charities and voluntary organizations.
Currently, Stuart serves as the Chair of Trustees at Caring Together, a prominent charity offering support to unpaid family carers and their dependents in the region. He previously held leadership positions at organizations such as the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity in Cambridge, Reduse, a spin-out from Cambridge University, Novacem, a spin-out from Imperial College London, and Plastic Logic, a Cambridge University spin-out that focused on flexible displays technology.
Stuart's early career included roles at IBM and McKinsey & Co. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA/MA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. Notable accolades include being named a Technology Pioneer twice by the World Economic Forum and being an alum of Chip Conley's Modern Elder Academy.
