Stuart Chapman, CIA, CFSA, CRMA, is the Director and Co-Head of Operational Due Diligence (ODD) at Strategic Investment Group with over 10 years of experience in reviewing corporate governance, operational processes, and accounting controls of investment managers and vehicles.
Chapman leads the Operational Risk Management Program, conducting internal risk assessments, monitoring corrective actions, and supporting the Vendor Management Program. He is a certified internal auditor (CIA), certified financial services auditor (CFSA), and holds a certification in risk management assurance (CRMA).
Beyond his ODD and risk management roles, Stuart is actively involved in Strategic's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, advocating for diversity and inclusion in the financial industry. He is a member of the Georgetown McDonough Alumni Advisory Council, providing mentorship and advice to students from underrepresented backgrounds.
He earned an MBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and a BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University. Stuart also holds a High School Diploma from Landon School.
Previously, Chapman held positions as Senior Internal Auditor at Fannie Mae (FNMA), Financial Analyst at S&P Global, Inc. (SPGI), and Senior Securities Analyst at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. (WFC).
