Steven Ward

Steven Ward is an accomplished professional with a background in journalism and editing.

He currently serves as the Editor of the 'Today in Mississippi' magazine for the Electric Cooperatives of Mississippi.

Prior to this role, Steven has held key positions in various reputable organizations including being the News Director at The Clarion-Ledger/Gannett and working as a Staff writer/reporter at The Baton Rouge Advocate, The Houma Courier, and Lake City Reporter.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts/Journalism from Southeastern Louisiana University and a foundation from Brother Martin High School, Steven has honed his skills and knowledge in the field.

Apart from being a dedicated professional, Steven Ward is a proud husband and father, a U.S. Navy veteran, and a book hoarder.

Originally from New Orleans, Steven's diverse background and experiences have undoubtedly contributed to his success in the journalism industry.
