Steven Schwartz

Steven Schwartz is a seasoned expert in cyber risk quantification and cyber insurance with over 10 years of experience in the field.2 He currently serves as the Vice President of Insurance Strategy & Underwriting at Safe Security, where he is responsible for developing and executing the company's insurance strategy and partnering across the insurance ecosystem to drive the next generation of quantitative, 'inside-out' cyber insurance underwriting.21

Prior to joining Safe Security in September 2021, Schwartz had two successful exits as a leader in technology startups.2 He was the VP of Strategy and Insurance for Cytegic, a cyber risk quantification company acquired by Mastercard in June 2020.21 He also co-founded Periculus, where he leveraged risk-based approaches to underwrite cyber insurance for Mastercard's merchant ecosystem.1
