After retiring from the DEA, Peterson became the Vice President of the National Law Enforcement Speakers Bureau, LLC, a position he has held since August 2010.1 In this role, he provides consultation, training and assistance to law enforcement agencies and corporations in narcotic-related fields.1
Peterson has a B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and is currently working towards a MPA degree from the University of North Carolina.1 He is also a DEA Adjunct Instructor at the DEA Academy in Quantico, VA.1
