Steven Nicholas

Steven Nicholas is a highly accomplished professional with a strong educational background and extensive experience in the fields of law enforcement, cybersecurity, and infrastructure protection.

He holds a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Loyola University New Orleans, a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Sociology from the same university, and has completed the prestigious FBI National Academy Class #190.

In addition, Steven has advanced his knowledge in Homeland Defense and Security by earning a certificate from the Homeland Security Executive Leaders Program at the Naval Postgraduate School.

Steven Nicholas currently serves as the Director of Region VI at the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, where he plays a critical role in safeguarding the nation's critical infrastructure and ensuring cybersecurity.

Prior to his current role, Steven held the position of Regional Director at the Office of Infrastructure Protection within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, further demonstrating his expertise in protecting vital assets and systems.

With previous experience as an Assistant Superintendent at the New Orleans Police Department, Steven Nicholas brings a wealth of hands-on experience in law enforcement and public safety to his current leadership roles.

His diverse educational background, coupled with his extensive professional experience, positions Steven as a valuable asset in the fields of cybersecurity, infrastructure protection, and law enforcement.
