Steven E. McCraney is the President & CEO of McCraney Property Company, with headquarters in Orlando, Florida, and offices in Charlotte, North Carolina, and West Palm Beach, Florida. He is a self-made entrepreneur known for developing over 15 million square feet of industrial/distribution and last-mile distribution properties across the Southeast.
Mr. McCraney has received numerous accolades, including being recognized as one of Commercial Property Executive's Top 10 Commercial National Development Firms, National Real Estate Investor's Top 50 National Industrial Owners & Developers, and NAIOP's Industrial Developer of the Year for Central Florida multiple times. He has also been honored as an 'Ultimate CEO' by the South Florida Business Journal.
Actively involved in various organizations, Mr. McCraney is a member of the Florida Council of 100, the Orange Bowl Committee, the University of Florida's Bergstrom Real Estate Advisory Board, and the Leadership Advisory Council of Place of Hope. He is also affiliated with The Chief Executives Organization and has served on the Young Presidents' Organization's Southern U.S. Executive Board.
Steven McCraney holds a degree from Villanova University and has pursued further education at Harvard Business School and Duke University. He has also earned the CCIM Designation and is a delegate member of SIOR.
In addition to his professional endeavors, Mr. McCraney is passionate about philanthropy. Through his company's 'Give-Care-Share' hunger project, they have provided 80,000 meals to individuals in need during the pandemic.
Embracing the spirit of adventure, Steven McCraney is an active alpine climber who has conquered several of the world's highest peaks to support the children's charity 'Place of Hope.' Some of his recent climbs include The Avenue of Volcanos in Ecuador, Elbrus in Russia, Aconcagua in Argentina, Kilimanjaro in Africa, Mt. Rainier, and the Grand Canyon 48 Mile-24 Hour Challenge. He also completed the Marine Corp Marathon in Washington, D.C.
