Steven Hitchcock

Steven E. Hitchcock is a highly experienced Florida Bar Board Certified Elder Law Attorney, specializing in Developmental Disabilities law, SSI and Medicaid, Special Needs Trusts, Guardianship and Guardian Advocacy, Long Term Care Planning, Veteran's Benefits law, Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration. He is the owner of Hitchcock Law Group in Clearwater, Florida.

Steven holds a B.S. in Pharmacy from Union University, New York, a Law Degree with a Certificate of Concentration in Elder Law, and an LL.M. in Elder Law with Distinction from Stetson University College of Law, Florida.

He is actively engaged in various legal associations such as the Elder Law and the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law sections of the Florida Bar. Steven holds key roles including Chair of the Ethics Committee of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar and serves on the Board of Directors of the Clearwater Bar Foundation. He is a proud member of National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA), and the Academy of Special Needs Planners (ASNP).

Licensed to practice law in Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Steven is accredited to practice before the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Beyond his legal practice, Steven Hitchcock contributes to the community by providing pro-bono clinics and workshops through local charitable organizations. He has also served as Court Appointed Counsel in Guardianship, appointed as Court Appointed Attorney Ad Litem, and Guardian Ad Litem. Additionally, he is a registered Pharmacist licensed in the State of Florida.
