Dr. Steven M. Gottlieb, M.D., is a highly accomplished executive who has held key leadership positions in the healthcare industry.
He most recently served as CEO of TeamHealth Anesthesia, a division of TeamHealth, and has been instrumental in driving innovation and best practices in clinical and business operations.
Prior to his role at TeamHealth, Dr. Gottlieb was the co-founder, CEO, and president of Anesthetix Management, a prominent provider of anesthesiology and pain management services for hospitals and surgery centers.
His successful leadership led to the growth and development of Anesthetix, including private equity investments, acquisition by TeamHealth, and an IPO.
Before his entrepreneurial ventures, Dr. Gottlieb actively practiced anesthesiology and pain management and founded various successful businesses including medical practices, a physician recruiting company, and a medical billing company.
With a background in anesthesiology and pain management, Dr. Gottlieb is board certified in both specialties.
His educational journey includes completing his MD at Hahnemann University School of Medicine and his BA at Temple University, where he graduated with honors.
