Steven Gottfried

Steven Gottfried is a tech entrepreneur and strategist with over 30 years of experience in facilities maintenance-focused technology and entrepreneurship.

He is the co-founder and CEO of EquipID and the co-founder of ReTool Ventures, with a focus on automating the Facility Management world.

Prior to his current ventures, Steven was the co-founder and previous CEO of ServiceChannel, a company that was acquired for 1.2 Billion by Fortive Corp.

Before ServiceChannel, he founded and sold ServiceTechnology Inc., an enterprise resource planning solution for service contractors, and Capital Electronics, Inc., which he sold to Emcor in the late 80s.

Steven has been actively involved in raising significant venture capital from prestigious firms in collaboration with partners, totaling hundreds of millions of dollars.

His educational background includes studies at The George Washington University, HVAC Technical Training, and Roslyn High School.
