Retired Executive
Steve White was the President of Trulieve Cannabis Corp., a leading cannabis company in the United States. He stepped down from this role effective October 1, 2023, and continued to serve as a strategic advisor until his anticipated retirement at the end of 2023.124
White co-founded Harvest Health & Recreation in 2011 and served as its CEO until the company was acquired by Trulieve in 2021. Following the acquisition, he was appointed as President of Trulieve.12 As an early pioneer in the U.S. legal cannabis industry, White led Harvest from a single dispensary to become one of the top multi-state operators with cultivation, manufacturing, and retail operations in several markets.24
In addition to his role at Trulieve, White served as an Executive in Residence at the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business from October 2021 to December 2023.3
White played a key role in the integration of Harvest operations with those of Trulieve following the acquisition.24 His departure from Trulieve coincided with the second anniversary of the company's acquisition of Harvest Health & Recreation.2
