Steve Weinberg

Steve Weinberg is an accomplished journalist, author, investigative reporter, and journalism professor. He has written seven non-fiction books, hundreds of articles for various publications, and contributed to many anthologies. Weinberg’s reporting has won various awards, including the Investigative Reporters and Editors Award and the Sidney Hillman Foundation Award. His investigative works have appeared in notable publications, such as Harper's, The New York Times Magazine, and The Christian Science Monitor. In addition, Weinberg has taught journalism to undergraduate and graduate students at various universities, including the University of Missouri School of Journalism. He also served as the first executive director of Investigative Reporters and Editors (IRE) and commenced a program for Minority Journalists, which paved the way for the National Institute for Computer-Assisted Reporting.
