Steve Thomas is a seasoned corporate affairs professional who holds a senior position at AIA Group, the world's largest life insurance company. In his role, he manages a team focusing on external and internal communications, overseeing the brand's purpose-led message of Healthier, Longer, Better Lives. Stephen is adept at crafting engaging narratives around AIA's key reputation drivers like performance, strategy, growth initiatives, thought leadership, and community engagement. Additionally, he supervises AIA's ESG program. With a track record of recognition in the industry, Stephen was featured in prominent publications such as PR Week’s Global Power Book and the Influence 100 by the Holmes Report several times. He chaired the 2019 PublicAffairs Asia Gold Standard Awards and is actively involved in industry associations, serving as a Trustee of the Institute for Public Relations and as the Hong Kong Chair of Page. Stephen, originally from Australia, has been based in Asia since 2001, currently residing in Hong Kong.
