Brooklyn native Steve Schaefer is a trusted and experienced real estate professional with over 15 years of experience, having closed more than 500 deals with a 90% success rate. With his unique blend of confidence and creativity honed during his early days fronting rock bands in Manhattan's vibrant Lower East Side and Williamsburg and Bushwick neighborhoods, Steve has made a name for himself as a true force in the New York real estate market. Steve has a passion for creating living and working spaces for creative individuals and he has worked on designing and building out shared living spaces in the iconic loft district of Bushwick. In 2008, he purchased a three-family home in Bedford-Stuyvesant giving him an intimate opportunity to further hone his skills in construction, design, and real estate investment. Prior to his career in real estate, Steve studied audiovisual communications technology and earned an associate degree at the Institute of Audio Research in New York City. He has also studied at the Borough of Manhattan Community College and earned his high school diploma at Edward R Murrow H.S. Steve approaches real estate with agility and perseverance and strongly believes in having a strategic battle plan. Steve is currently the CEO of The Industry Team and is a former licensed associate real estate broker at Compass, former CEO of Rocknrollestate and 3rd Earth Management Services, former director of leasing at Nooklyn, and former northeast territory supervisor at Sterling Bank Services. Steve currently resides in Bedford-Stuyvesant with his cats Lydia and Johnny and in his downtime he enjoys playing music, collecting art, and exploring new local hot spots.
