Steve Morris

Steve Morris is a seasoned entrepreneur and startup coach who served as the Executive Director of the Oregon Technology Business Center (OTBC) for 15 years and 6 months, from July 2006 to December 2021.1 He has since transitioned to a semi-retired role, currently serving as a Board Member at the Oregon Startup Center since July 2023.12

With over 25 years of management experience in the software, service, and semiconductor test industries, Morris has worked for companies such as Hewlett Packard, Integrated Measurement Systems, Cadence Design Systems, Mentor Graphics, Credence Corporation, and Teseda Corporation.3 His career highlights include:

Morris holds a B.A. in mathematics from Reed College and a Master of Science degree from Carnegie-Mellon University Graduate School of Industrial Administration (now The Tepper School of Business).3 His expertise lies in leadership, startups, entrepreneurship, strategic marketing, team management, and fundraising from angel investors and venture capital.1
