Steve Miller, Ph.D.
Steve Miller, Ph.D., an experienced applied neuroscience and education technology executive, has more than 25 years of experience in the industry. He is a dedicated academic who has taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses while conducting sponsored research programs in neuroscience and cognitive neuropsychology. His studies have included large multsite initiatives on the neural basis of brain plasiticity and learning. He has authored or co-authored over 100 publications, including research studies, commercial software programs, and U.S. Patents. As a business executive, Steve is a passionate collaborator with extensive business experience in technology transfer, translational research, business incorporation, venture funding, and start-up phases of numerous companies. He has worked in various organizations such as Elite Performance Solutions Inc, Nelson Miller Group, Platypus Institute, Nervanix, Sally Ride Science, Nielsen, NeuroFocus, and Scientific Learning. Steve holds a Ph.D. in Physiological & Experimental Psychology from the University of North Carolina, an internship in Neuropsychology Clinical Internship from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, a Masters in Neuroscience/ Experimental Psychology from the University of Hartford, and a B.A. in Psychology from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania.
