Steve McColl is an award-winning data scientist with extensive experience in fraud analytics and operational automation. He is well-versed in anomaly detection, network analytics, and ethical data handling. McColl holds a degree in Honours Bachelor of Knowledge Integration with a minor in Economics from the University of Waterloo; he further pursued Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.

McColl is currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at the Government of Canada. He has previously worked as a Data Scientist and Junior Data Scientist in the same organisation. Additionally, he has worked as a Student Data Scientist at NetLab, which is affiliated with the University of Waterloo.
