Steve Maxwell is a highly accomplished business professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and field enablement. As the Senior Director of Global Field Enablement at Cloudera, he is responsible for driving revenue growth through the enablement of the global sales force. Steve's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration in Marketing from Golden Gate University, a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from San Jose State University, as well as marketing studies from San Diego State University.
Prior to his current role, Steve held various leadership positions in sales and operations at tech firms including Datrium, Medallia, and Avaya. He has also served as the Director of Global Sales Training and Enablement at ServiceNow, where he oversaw global sales readiness initiatives, and as the Vice President of Sales Operations and Enablement Practice Director at Mxl Partners. With his extensive background in sales operations, marketing, and field enablement, Steve is highly skilled in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies that drive business growth.
Outside of work, Steve is a founding member of the Sales Enablement Society and holds a keen interest in marketing and sales training. He is an avid reader and enjoys keeping up with the latest trends in the tech and marketing industries.
