Steve Marker

Steve Marker is a dedicated professional with a background in architecture and real estate development. He graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, where he also showed a keen interest in entrepreneurship. After earning his architectural license, Steve pursued further academic achievements by obtaining a Masters of Science in Real Estate and Infrastructure Development from Johns Hopkins University.

Transitioning from architecture to development, Steve found a home at Brightview Senior Living, where he currently serves as the Vice President of Development. In this role, he oversees the creation of vibrant Senior Living communities across the mid-Atlantic and northeast regions. Steve's responsibilities encompass acquisitions, entitlement, and the development of new projects, as well as focusing on product innovation and exploring new market opportunities.

Apart from his professional endeavors, Steve actively engages in mentoring aspiring interns, participating in community advocacy initiatives, and volunteering with the Urban Land Institute (ULI) at both local and national levels. Beyond his career, he enjoys traveling the world with his husband, Joe, indulging in mountain hikes, and seeking out climbing adventures whenever possible.
