Steve Mariotti

Steve Mariotti is the Founder of the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE), an organization dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship education and financial literacy among youth. He has held this position since January 1987, significantly contributing to youth entrepreneurship initiatives across the United States and beyond.1

Background and Experience

• Education: Mariotti earned both an MBA in Business and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Michigan, completing his studies between 1971 and 1977.
• Previous Roles:
  • Special Education/Business Teacher at the New York City Department of Education from September 1982 to June 1987.
  • Founder of Mason Import/Export Services from February 1979 to January 1982.
  • Treasury Analyst at Ford Motor Company from January 1976 to January 1979.1
