Steve Kraft

Steve Kraft is the Vice President of Machinery at Ojjo, Inc., a role he has held since May 2019. Based in Berkeley, California, he brings over 20 years of experience primarily in startup environments, where he has been involved in both founding and exiting businesses. At Ojjo, he is responsible for the design, development, and production of a specialized construction machine used for installing utility solar power plant foundations.14

Kraft has a strong technical background, with expertise in embedded systems programming, machine control systems, and PCB design. His previous roles include VP of Engineering at Powerhive, where he led technology development for solar-powered electric microgrids, and various engineering positions at SunPower Corporation, where he was instrumental in launching innovative solar products. He has also founded companies focused on solar energy solutions.123

In addition to his work at Ojjo, Kraft has served as an independent consultant, advising on embedded software and data analysis, and has been involved with other companies in the renewable energy sector.15
