Steve Jones is the Owner and Managing Partner of The S4 Group, Inc., a company specializing in integrating legacy Johnson Controls Metasys Building Automation Systems to open OPC, BACnet, SNMP, and XML environments.

With a background in system integration, software development, communications, and networking systems, Steve has vast experience in integrating non-IT systems like Building Automation, Industrial Automation, Process Control, and Factory Floor with IT infrastructures.

Steve's educational background includes a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Rutgers, and an Associate degree in Computer Science from Penn State University.

Prior to founding The S4 Group, Steve held senior positions with notable organizations like Johnson Controls, Inc., where he was part of the Systems Products organization. He also has a history of working with system integration, networking, and telecommunications companies.

Steve has also been actively involved in various organizations and roles, such as serving as the Marketing Committee Chair at BACnet International and holding managerial positions at companies like Decision Systems Technologies, I-Net, Inc., CAI/SISco, Banyan Systems, Planning Research Corporation (PRC), TRT Telecommunications, Siemens, and Bell Laboratories.
