Steve Irvine

Steve Irvine is a highly accomplished technology executive and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the industry. He has built and led multi-billion dollar teams and successfully founded and managed three technology companies from scratch. In addition, Irvine has raised over $80 million in angel and venture capital financing across various startups. He spent six years at Facebook and Instagram in global and local leadership roles with responsibilities spanning sales, marketing, strategy, and partnerships. Irvine also serves as an independent, non-executive director for Aviva Canada and a board member for Polar, a leading branded content platform provider for media companies. He is an active speaker on AI, big data, social media, mobile, and emerging technology platforms, including keynote speaking engagements at many major industry and digital conferences. Irvine is also an advisor to Vector Institute, a global leading AI research institute based in Toronto and the Centre for Aging and Brain Health Innovation. He is a fellow in the Space Stream of Creative Destruction Lab, helping launch the next big space company.
