Steve Holman is a seasoned attorney with over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, specializing in helping energy companies develop, finance, acquire, and manage energy projects and businesses.

Throughout his career, he has held key roles such as General Counsel at prominent solar companies like SunEdison, Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV), and MMA Renewable Ventures.

Steve brings a unique perspective by combining a businessperson's mindset with legal expertise to provide practical and cost-effective legal solutions to complex issues in the energy industry.

Co-founding Clean Energy Counsel aimed to deliver high-quality legal services in a more efficient manner compared to traditional law firms, focusing on solar and renewable energy projects, energy storage, waste to energy, energy efficiency, project finance, and more.

His areas of expertise include solar and renewable energy project acquisitions, development, and finance, as well as waste to energy projects, project management, mergers and acquisitions, corporate legal matters, energy transactions, and various agreements like PPAs, EPC agreements, and O&M agreements.

Steve Holman completed his J.D. at Washington and Lee University School of Law and holds a B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
