Steve Harrison
Steve Harrison is a seasoned writer, teacher, advisor, and marketeer with over 25 years of experience in developing effective creative work. He believes that advertising is a simple game made complicated by fools, and to do it well, you need a big marketing idea and a big creative idea. Steve emphasizes identifying the problem faced by the prospect and finding the solution provided by the product or service being sold. Expressing the solution as a single-minded benefit is key to developing a successful big marketing idea. And all that remains is coming up with a big creative idea that dramatizes and demonstrates that benefit. Steve used to be the Co-Founder of Harrison Troughton Wunderman and is currently working as an advisor and teacher at Own Boss. Steve studied Doctor of Philosophy - PhD, "American Society, Cinema, and Television, 1950-60" at The University of Manchester. He enjoys helping people with their branding and marketing, and sometimes he even does it for free.
