Steve Betts is a renowned athletic management professional and competitive swim coach with over 25 years of experience working in different countries such as Kuwait, Bangkok, and Singapore. He recently relocated to the Bend area and is currently serving as the Aquatics Director at Lincoln Community School. Betts has a Bachelor's degree in Education from New Mexico State University and a Master of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from SUNY Buffalo State.

He has worked with various organizations such as Redmond Aquatic Club Eels, GWA Singapore, Swim Lab, First Defense Services Pte Ltd, and Singapore American School as age group swimming coach, aquatics coordinator, swim coach, MWR Director, product line manager, and PE teacher/swimming coach, respectively. Furthermore, Betts has assisted students from different schools and organizations by providing substitute teaching services at JEFFERSON COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT 509-J.

Betts has excellent people management and leadership skills, which he acquired through his years of experience. He is passionate about keeping people physically active and motivating them to adopt healthier lifestyles.
