Stephen O'Regan

Stephen O'Regan, born in Ireland in 1989 and raised in Cork, is an experienced professional in the field of International Business Advisory, focusing on assisting foreign companies in establishing and operating in China. Stephen completed his Bachelor's Degree in Law from University College Cork and furthered his education by attending a joint Postgraduate Study Program in Chinese Business and Language with University College Cork and South China Normal University in Guangzhou. With a strong passion for Mandarin Chinese, Stephen has been learning the language intensively for several years, both in and out of the classroom. His dedication led him to live in Guangzhou, China, for a total of 2 years, where he gained valuable work experience at Kingson Law Firm as part of his Postgraduate Program. Since April 2013, Stephen has been a key member of the Guangdong King & Land Law Firm before moving to Dezan Shira & Associates in late 2014 as a Senior Associate in the International Business Advisory department. In his role, Stephen utilized his expertise to advise clients on various legal matters, tax laws, accounting, annual compliance, audits, and labor laws, among other critical aspects of conducting business in China.
