Steve O'Herlihy

Stephen O'Herlihy is a confident team player with strong social skills and extensive IT knowledge. He possesses good leadership abilities and thrives in deadline-driven environments. Stephen holds a Master's in Business Information Systems (MBS) and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in the same field.

With over 11 years of experience, Stephen has honed his skills working with MSSQL Server versions 7 through 2016, including SQL Azure Database and IAAS hosted SQL Server instances. He also has experience managing MySQL instances in Google Cloud.

Stephen is a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) in SQL Server 2008 Implementation and Maintenance, and he holds the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification. He is well-versed in handling Stand Alone and Clustered multi-instance SQL Servers in a High Availability (HA) production environment, managing tasks like Mirroring, Replication, Always On Availability Groups (AGs), Log Shipping, Failover Clusters, DWH development, migration scripting, reconciliation scripting, and granular security implementation.

In terms of education, Stephen attended the University College Cork where he pursued both his MBS and BSc degrees in Business Information Systems. Furthermore, he completed his Leaving Certificate at Christian Brothers College.
