He is a prolific inventor and co-inventor of 49 patents, actively involved in various tech acquisitions, integrations, strategic partnerships, and leading global development teams.

Lawler spent 15 years at Microsoft, holding key positions such as CTO of Bing Maps, General Manager of Software Development for Bing Maps, Bing Mobile, Local Search, MSN, and Virtual Earth.

His career also includes executive roles as Vice President at Amazon and Senior Vice President at Cyanogen.
