Stephen Jones is an experienced organizer with a background in nonprofit and political organizations. He is a skilled information management professional proficient in Nonprofit Organizations, Civil Rights, Journalism, Web Design, and Digitization. Stephen Jones is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he completed a Master's program after earning a B.A in History from DePaul University.
Throughout his career, Stephen has held various roles in different organizations, including serving as a Library Board Member at the Las Cruces Thomas Branigan Library Advisory Board. He has also demonstrated his leadership skills as the former 2nd Congressional District Vice Chair at the Democratic Party of New Mexico and as the former Communications Director at the Democratic Party of Doña Ana County.
Stephen's passion for communication and information management led him to work as a Contributing Writer at Democracy for New Mexico and as a Data Services Manager at the Chicago Public Library. His expertise in managing data and information was further evident during his time as the Freedom of Information Office Specialist at the City of Chicago.
