Stephen Crutchfield

Stephen Crutchfield is a highly educated professional with a diverse academic background and extensive experience in the field of electrical engineering and management.

He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the University of Virginia, followed by a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and another Master's degree in Management from North Carolina State University.

Throughout his career, Stephen has held various key positions in reputable organizations, showcasing his expertise and leadership skills.

He currently serves as the Principal Technical Analyst and coordinator for the RSTC at the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC). Prior to this role, he was the Senior Manager in Operating Committee Support at NERC.

Stephen has also contributed to NERC as a Senior Standards Developer and Standards Developer in the past, highlighting his dedication to ensuring reliability in the electric power system.

Before his tenure at NERC, Stephen gained valuable experience as a Project Manager at The Shaw Group and as a Manager in roles such as RTO Integration at PJM Interconnection, Customer Support at GridSouth, and Power System Operations Training at Progress Energy.
