Stephany Garcia is a collaborative problem solver with over 5 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, focusing on providing equal access to resources in marginalized communities and celebrating cultural histories through art and technology.
With a background in Art History and Philosophy from Columbia University in the City of New York, Stephany also expanded her skills by studying Java, Javascript, and Android at Epicodus, as well as completing the Managing for Innovation Program at CUNY School of Professional Studies.
In her most recent role at a tech education organization, The Knowledge House, she played a key role in empowering and sustaining a talent pipeline of technologists, entrepreneurs, and digital leaders to uplift their communities out of poverty.
Stephany Garcia's past positions include Program Director, Products & Innovation Manager, and BxDP Program Manager at The Knowledge House, as well as Associate Director at the Asian American Arts Centre.
Apart from her professional endeavors, Stephany finds joy in deep conversations, sharing meals, watching 90s rom coms, exploring the world, spending time with loved ones, and witnessing the perfect sunset. She is always open to forging new connections and rekindling old ones.
