Stephanie Miller is a highly accomplished Postdoctoral Neuroscientist with over 15 years of experience in research.
She recently received the Graduate Dean's award for her exceptional doctoral thesis, focusing on changes in protein expression of the GABA-A receptor alpha-subunits in the developing brain.
Throughout her academic journey, Stephanie has demonstrated a strong commitment to research by publishing 4 peer-reviewed publications as part of her PhD studies at the Perinatal Research Centre within the UQ Centre for Clinical Research.
Stephanie Miller's expertise lies in investigating Stem Cell therapies and therapeutic hypothermia for treating hypoxic newborn brain injury.
She completed her Bachelor of Science at The University of Queensland and has been actively engaged in research and academic pursuits since graduating with first-class Honors in 2001.
Currently, Stephanie is dedicated to advancing the field of neuroscience through her role as a Postdoctoral research officer at the University of Queensland.
