Stephanie Ma is a dedicated Conversation Designer in the financial services sector, leveraging her educational background in economics, marketing, and PR to excel in her field. She holds a Master of Arts in International Economics with a concentration in China Studies and specialization in Emerging Markets from The Johns Hopkins University. Stephanie also completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a minor in Religious Studies at Santa Clara University. With experience in both the private and public sectors, including being a former executive branch political appointee, Stephanie has a versatile skill set that she applies to her work. She has previously called Washington DC home for 8 years before relocating back to her native San Francisco Bay Area in 2019. Furthermore, Stephanie actively engages with financial inclusion research and product design, enjoying discussions on access versus usage of financial services and the incorporation of people's aspirations in experience design.
