Stephanie Koehl is a dedicated professional with a strong passion for technology and community building. Over the past five years, she has been actively involved in various impactful projects, including co-developing Deltahacks, Canada's first hackathon for social good, and working with Google Ignite CS to empower disadvantaged youth in technology. Stephanie has also made significant contributions to education by creating a functional programming pedagogical framework that has benefited over 30,000 K-12 students. Her academic pursuits include publishing two research papers, and she has successfully founded and sold a company in sustainable aerospace.
Currently, Stephanie is working at Ceridian in Program Management while pursuing a graduate degree in Computing and Software, with an expected graduation in Spring 2022. Her diverse professional experience ranges from operational roles at Ceridian to strategic advisory positions at Living Earth Farm. Stephanie's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Behavior, both from McMaster University.
Throughout her career, Stephanie has held key roles in various organizations, demonstrating her leadership skills and extensive expertise. She has served as a Special Projects member at Alvea, a Fellow at Interact, a Development Manager at Ceridian, and a Strategic Advisor at Living Earth Farm, among other positions. Stephanie's involvement in technology and community initiatives reflects her interests in digital community, Metaverse, and human behavior.
