Stephanie Helm

Stephanie Helm is a cybersecurity expert currently dedicated to enhancing cybersecurity for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. With an impressive 29-year career as an active duty Naval officer, she retired as a Captain specializing in Information Warfare. Throughout her tenure, Stephanie held key positions in Information Operations, Cryptology, and Intelligence, gaining valuable experience in various assignments such as Navy staff (OPNAV N3/N5), CENTCOM, Second Fleet, NSA, and Naval Security Group shore commands.

Stephanie's professional journey includes significant contributions in integrating cyberspace operations into war game events while working at NETSIMCO for the Naval War College War Gaming Department. She holds expertise in cyberspace operations, Joint military operations, and Joint Operational Planning Process.

In terms of education, Stephanie Helm pursued a Master's degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the U.S. Naval War College, and a Bachelor's degree in Slavic Languages and Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.

Stephanie has been associated with esteemed organizations such as MassCyberCenter at MassTech, where she serves as a Director. Her previous roles include Information Operations Consultant at Network and Simulation Technologies Inc., Military Professor at the U.S. Naval War College, N39 at U.S. Navy, and various J2 jobs at US CENTCOM.
