Stephanie Gillespie

Stephanie Gillespie is the Managing Partner and founder of Artemis Talent Partners, an executive search consulting firm that specializes in the asset management industry. With over 15 years of experience in retained search, she established Artemis to offer a more flexible and creative approach to talent acquisition compared to traditional methods.

Gillespie began her career in executive search in 2005 at Morgan Samuels Company, where she learned a process-driven approach. She later joined Westwood Partners, where she spent 12 years focusing on searches in asset management and banking, including roles for Analysts, Portfolio Managers, and Sales/Investor Relations. Her diverse background also includes experience in business development at technology startups in the San Francisco Bay Area, which sparked her passion for recruiting and connecting talent.

She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with High Honors from Rutgers University. Additionally, Gillespie is a former CPA from Ernst & Young. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys reading, cycling, and spending time with her husband and two daughters. She is also interested in helping college students explore career options.12
