Legal Assistant and Senior Legal Assistant

Under the supervision of attorneys:

•	Assist small to mid-sized, fast-growing employers who hire foreign national employees who apply for work visas and/or permanent resident applications (H-1Bs, TNs, E-3s, PERM, I-140s, AOSes)
•	Prepare and file well-documented, well-presented immigration petitions.
•	Conduct research and write technical, detailed support letters in support of immigration filings.
•	Draft and file DHS/USCIS/DOL applications and forms, supporting documents, and cover letters.
•	Communicate with HR, employees, and family members to gather and obtain the needed materials.
•	Improve processes, templates and reporting features.
•	Follow-up on inquiries with client and various government agencies as needed.
•	Respond to client calls and inquiries as directed by attorneys.
•	Other duties as specified by attorneys.

Paralegal Support and Senior Paralegal Support

•	Responsible for answering and directing telephone calls for the firm and our tenants, which includes acting as the Telephone System Administrator for the telephone system.
•	Handle in-coming and out-going mail delivery, including the sending, receipt and distribution of faxes.
•	Request and receive all delivery and messenger services.
•	Process credit card payments, receipt of payment(s) and client information form.
•	Maintain public use areas including foyer, break room and conference room.
•	Maintain the copy rooms.
•	Office supplies – maintaining a supply budget, ordering supplies.
•	Make copies and scan documents as needed for staff and returns original documents.
•	Print jobs as needed (either in house or overseeing sending them out).
•	Circulate and file publications that WSM subscribes to.
•	Handle bank deposits, as needed.
•	Handle filing for client, corporate and vendor files.
•	Manage off-site file document storage vendor sending and retrieving files (Cor-o-Van).
•	Oversee set-up for attorney meetings, including preparing meeting materials, ordering/obtaining/setting up attorney lunches.
•	Update attorney calendars, as needed. 
•	Maintain Out-of-Office calendar and circulate weekly Snapshot to office.
•	Oversee and manage conference room schedule and posts sign-up sheet.
•	Handle staff registrations for conferences and events and handle arrangements.
