Stephanie Boyce
Lecturer in African American Studies at University of Houston
Stephanie Boyce is a highly qualified education professional with a passion for fostering inclusivity in the classroom. Boyce holds a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington, a Masters of Education Administration and Supervision from University of North Texas, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from University of Houston.
With years of experience working at schools and organizations including the University of Houston, Paul Quinn College, and Dr. R. W. Goines STEM Academy, Boyce has gained a reputation as a servant leader and fierce advocate for students. She is an expert in creating culturally responsive classrooms that allow all students to thrive, and is dedicated to sharing her knowledge to help educators achieve this important goal.
As a lecturer in African American Studies at the University of Houston and a former English teacher, principal, and administrator at various schools throughout Texas, Boyce brings a wealth of hands-on experience to her work. She has also served as a mentor, instructional coach, and PBL pioneer.
In her current role as a resource for educators, Boyce is committed to helping teachers and administrators create an environment where all students feel seen, heard, and valued. She believes that inclusive classrooms are key to unlocking the full potential of each and every student, regardless of their background or identity.
