Leadership Foundations collaborates ventures with hundreds of local partners to assist at-risk youth, prisoners and their families, people with inadequate health care, families in need of housing, and individuals and families with alcohol and drug addictions. The Colangelo Carpenter Innovation Center (CCIC) exists to provide an innovative space to generate and scale innovative practices, programs, and policies to support the LF network and cities around the world.

Springboard Communities offers an inclusive economic development model as an alternative to gentrification for divested neighborhoods. Springboard partners with community-based organizations to own & drive intentional real estate development.

In Chicago's South Side, Springboard worked with an engagement ecosystem to support adolescents on their transition from disengagement to becoming SpringBOARD Citizens - individuals that achieved dignity & self-sufficiency through social-emotional, financial, and housing stability.

With partners, CYDI and Meta, we created promising new life pathways through a holistic 5-stage approach, BOARD, to support young adults. The ecosystem has been established over 20 years of healing through doing locally. Through social-emotional healing and entrepreneurship, youth age 16-24 gain key life and STEM skills to earn a high-quality job and a stable home.

Built and tracked systems in a dynamic, growing startup that provided 'Micro-scholarships' to aspiring college students for accomplishments in academics, community service, and extracurriculars. Supported a senior team during a busy back to school period with multiple strategies ongoing simultaneously. Conceptualized, developed, implemented, and tracked systems in social media, college outreach, and influencer recruitment.

The OECD is a collection of nations dedicated to promoting global development through research and international collaboration. Their education directorate focuses on proliferation of the PISA Assessment, the premier basis for measuring success in education.

Worked on PISA for Development with a 5-person team implementing the assessment in 6 developing nations. Prepared grant proposals, formatted coordinating documents, and managed technology for an Advisory Board convening in Paris.

GOVC's internship offered a unique perspective into startups by committing my time to both the fund and a growing portfolio company, ImageBrief. At Great Oaks: Pitched startups, appraised companies, and supported portfolio companies. At Imagrebief: Conducted competitor analysis and oversaw influencer outreach strategy by developing leads, selecting optimal channels, and crafting messaging. Received exemplary reviews and an offer for future employment with ImageBrief.

Through its Education Funders Strategy Group, our delegation toured leading education systems in Switzerland, Germany, and Canada. These tours offered the opportunity to explore cutting-edge, system-level education solutions resulting in lasting domestic policy implications.

Collaborated as part of an 8 person team at Fundrise, the first-to-market crowdfunding real estate platform. Worked closely with CEO Ben Miller in a fast growing environment to prepare for an upcoming round of funding, startup conference, and presentation to a US Senate/House committee. Responsibilities included drafting blog & speech content, researching potential investors, and organizing our booth at a conference.
