Stender Sweeney

Stender Sweeney is the Division Executive at Wells Fargo Commercial Banking group for Southern California in the West region. With a large team under his leadership, he caters to the financial needs of commercial customers across various counties in Southern California. Wells Fargo Commercial Banking is known for its outstanding services including credit, treasury management, and deposit products for a diverse clientele that includes commercial businesses, non-profit organizations, and government agencies. Sweeney's expertise spans industries such as Food, Beverage & Agribusiness, Real Estate, Government, Technology, Defense & Aerospace, and Entertainment Finance.

In addition to his corporate role, Stender Sweeney actively engages in community service, holding board member positions at Friends of Expo Center, the California Art Club, and the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Foundation.

Sweeney pursued higher education at top institutions, earning his MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Political Science from Northwestern University. Prior to his current position, he held key roles at La Loma Partners, LLC, Wells Fargo as an Executive Vice President and Regional Director, as well as at Union Bank as a Regional Vice President.
