Stella Vuzo

Stella Vuzo is an accomplished international journalist with a wealth of experience in communications, having worked for renowned media outlets such as BBC Swahili, BBC Africa, Hirondelle News Agency, and AFP New Agency. She has an extensive background in reporting on significant events like the trials of Rwanda Genocide perpetrators.

With a Master's degree in International Journalism from the University of Westminster, Stella Vuzo has honed her skills in effectively disseminating key messages to diverse audiences. Her current focus involves engaging in impactful public speaking engagements, particularly in educational outreach programs aimed at empowering young people and marginalized communities.

Passionate about education, youth development, gender equality, human rights, and peace-building, Stella Vuzo excels in creating and producing educational radio programs. She firmly believes in the power of radio and social media to reach and positively impact thousands of individuals in underserved areas.

In her role as an Information Officer at the United Nations Information Center, Stella Vuzo leverages her expertise to contribute to the organization's outreach efforts, including managing social media platforms and websites. She also has past experience as a Radio Producer at the United Nations-African Union Mission in Darfur, showcasing her commitment to utilizing media for social good and community development.
