Dr. Safo's impressive career includes a significant tenure as Senior Medical Director of Clinical Transformation at Mount Sinai, where she spearheaded efforts to transform over 50 ambulatory primary care centers into proactive, patient-centered facilities under new payment models. Her leadership has set a benchmark for quality care and innovation within the health system. Following her impactful role at Mount Sinai, she joined Premier Inc. as Chief Clinical Transformation Officer and Vice President of Prospective Research, overseeing a talented team of researchers dedicated to integrating innovations from the pharmaceutical and biomedical sector into clinician workflows that enhance patient outcomes.
In addition to her leadership roles, Dr. Safo is deeply invested in advocacy.
