Steffen Riemer

Steffen Riemer is an expert in measurement technologies, including density and concentration, viscometry, FTIR analyzers, spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy, refractive index, and polarization measurement. With a background in the petro industry testing and lab automation, he also possesses strong knowledge in LED, lighting industry, semiconductor technologies, semiconductor backend, electronic components, production, process technology, QM, and customer-specific light module solutions.

His educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Applied Geosciences - ore geology and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Generic Management from Montanuniversität Leoben. He also completed his Matura at Neusprachliches Gymnasium in BG/BRG Köflach.

Steffen Riemer has held various key positions in renowned organizations, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Business Unit Measurement at Anton Paar GmbH. Previously, he has worked as the Business Area Manager R&D, VP R&D / Program Director, Managing Director / Geschäftsführer, Head of Product Development (both global and local), Head of Production, Head of Process Technology (Zumtobel LED Division), and Quality Manager at Tridonic. Prior to his tenure at Tridonic, he has also held roles such as SQA, QA Engineer, and Junior Researcher at EPCOS.
