Stefan Novak

Stefan Novak is a prominent software engineer specialized in space mission design software. With a Master of Science degree in Computational Science from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, Stefan has spent his career developing and designing software. His biggest contribution to FreeFlyer's simulation engine was adding terrain modeling capabilities to model when line of sight between a satellite and an object near the ground can be blocked because of nearby mountains. In addition to his work with FreeFlyer, Stefan has worked in data science and application/platform development at a few other tech companies including Airbnb, Oregon Health & Science University, and The Clymb, among others. Stefan is passionate about helping others and is always open to discussing interesting problems or career advice.
