Stefan Klestil is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the international payments and banking technology sector.

Currently serving as the General Partner Sif at Speedinvest, Stefan oversees the FinTech portfolio across EMEA and beyond, taking a hands-on approach to support founders on various aspects of their businesses.

He is deeply involved in the FinTech ecosystem, having been a speaker at prestigious events like the Paris FinTech Forum, Money 2020 in Europe and Asia, Noah, and the Singapore Fintech Festival.

Stefan's investment and advisory track record includes notable companies such as N26, Wefox, Billie, Moove, Curve, Wayflyer, Bitpanda, Khazna, Shopup, Abhi, and Luko.

Having successfully exited companies like payworks, iyzico, and Holvi, Stefan's primary focus lies on scale-ups in Africa, MENA, and other Frontier Markets.

Prior to his current role, Stefan held leadership positions at First Data, Roland Berger, and A.T. Kearney, leveraging his expertise from both the operational and advisory sides of the industry.

Stefan's educational background includes a Master's degree in International Affairs from Columbia University, an MBA from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, and studies at Kollegium Kalksburg.
