Russian political figure and 8th State Duma deputy
Stanislav Alexandrovich Naumov, commonly referred to as Stas Naumov, is a Russian politician serving as a deputy in the 8th State Duma since September 19, 2021. He is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia. Born on October 4, 1972, in Magnitogorsk, Chelyabinsk Oblast, Naumov has had a diverse career in both politics and academia.
Education and Early Career
Naumov graduated from Ural State University and began his career in public service as a press secretary for the mayor of Magnitogorsk from 1992 to 1997. He then served as an advisor to Alexander Pochinok and held various positions, including Vice-Rector of the International Banking Institute and advisor to Viktor Khristenko, a prominent Russian politician.
Professional Roles
From 2010 to 2020, Naumov was the president of the Russian Association for Public Relations and also served as the Head of the Department of Philosophy at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. In 2015, he took on the role of Director for Government Relations at X5 Retail Group.
