Stanton Green is a professor emeritus at Monmouth University who has had an accomplished career in anthropology, education, and arts management. With a specific focus on mentoring students for green careers through liberal arts, Green has presented workshops and presentations on the topic at numerous conferences throughout his career. He is also currently working as the director of a major eco-heritage project in southeastern Ireland and is a member of Al Gore's Climate Reality Project. In the past, Green has served as the dean of Humanities and Social Sciences at Monmouth University and as a professor and chair at the University of South Carolina. Additionally, he created and developed the Monmouth University Center for the Arts, which integrates the arts into the curriculum through a variety of mediums. As an anthropologist, Green has done research on baseball and American culture and history and has given a Ted Talk on the subject.
