Stanley Mutunga

Stanley Mutunga is the President and co-founder of Tumaini International Ministries, a non-profit organization focused on providing support to children affected by AIDS and other vulnerable populations in Kenya. Background and Education

Dr. Stanley Mutunga holds advanced degrees in theology, intercultural studies, and international development. His educational background includes teaching at various universities in Africa, the USA, and Europe. He has also served as a church planter and minister in Kenya, which has deeply informed his approach to community service and development.13

Founding of Tumaini International

Mutunga co-founded Tumaini International in the early 2000s after experiencing personal losses due to the AIDS epidemic in Kenya. This tragedy motivated him to address the needs of AIDS orphans, leading to the establishment of programs that provide educational and healthcare support, as well as socio-economic development initiatives.13 Under his guidance, Tumaini has expanded its reach significantly, serving thousands of children and families across multiple counties in Kenya.23

Current Role

As President, Mutunga oversees all operations of Tumaini International, including strategic planning and partnership development.
