Throughout his career, he has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Vice President for US Business Development and Global Head of Technology, where he worked with energy companies, electric and gas utilities, small startups, and government organizations across the US, Europe, and Asia. Blazewicz's expertise lies in creating value by anticipating market transformations driven by technology, innovation, and business model disruptions. He is a collaborative partner, working across complex, global organizations to form enduring relationships while leading with vision, change, and excitement to deliver results.

Blazewicz's current focus is on National Grid's journey to become a customer-centric, clean energy company, leveraging his experience in strategy development, business planning, automation, data analytics, and technology. He holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in electrical engineering and started his career in the US Navy as a nuclear submarine officer.
